| Fishing Reports |
The Fork is fishing well. The river definetely fishing better from Basalt to Glenwood. The river will fish better later in the day as the water is very cold early in the day. Look for warm days with lots of sun to fish the Fork. Typical winter patterns working best. Midges, Blue Wings, Winter Stones, and Eggs. We expect the Fork to get better by the day as we head toward Spring. |

River Description |
The Roaring Fork river begins high in the mountains on Independence Pass above the town of Aspen, Colorado. It flows and gains in size all the way to Glenwood Springs where it joins the Colorado River. This is a great freestone river with some exceptional fishing and great hatches. This is one of our favorite rivers in the West. Ask about our Three Rivers in Three Days tour. See you on the Fork. |
